컴투스, P2O 시스템 탑재한 ‘크리티카 글로벌’ 출시

‘다이아몬드’·‘쿼츠’ 재화, 전자지갑에서 유틸리티 토큰으로 교환

[화이트페이퍼=최창민 기자] 컴투스는 자회사 올엠이 개발한 ‘크리티카 글로벌’을 글로벌 시장에 출시했다고 9일 밝혔다.

‘크리티카 글로벌’은 컴투스가 전 세계 2000만명 이상의 이용자를 확보한 PC 온라인 액션 RPG 크리티카에 블록체인 플랫폼 C2X를 탑재해 선보이는 웹 3 게임이다.

이번 정식 출시에 맞춰 컴투스는 게임 플레이로 획득 가능한 신규 재화 ‘다이아몬드’와 ‘쿼츠’를 업데이트했다. 이들 재화는 전용 상점에서 사용 가능하다. 또 한국 등 일부 국가를 제외한 글로벌 지역에서 전자지갑 ‘C2X스테이션’을 통해 게임의 유틸리티 토큰 ‘KRX’·‘C2X’로 상호 교환할 수 있다. 이를 통해 이용자들은 게임 플레이로 얻은 결과물을 직접 소유하는 P2O(Play To Own) 시스템을 즐길 수 있다는 게 컴투스의 설명이다.

컴투스는 향후 공성전, PvP 토너먼트 등 신규 콘텐츠와 함께 연내 NFT 기능도 도입할 예정이다.

한편 컴투스는 최근 크리티카 글로벌의 C2X 블록체인 생태계 합류를 위해 참여자들이 직접 게임을 테스트하고 플랫폼 탑재 의사를 표현하는 절차인 ‘베타 게임 런처’를 성공적으로 마무리했다. 크리티카 IP만의 액션 쾌감과 개성 넘치는 캐릭터 등 높은 게임성에 소유와 분배의 P2O 가치를 더해 글로벌 웹3 게임 시장을 공략한다는 계획이다.
