[화이트페이퍼=최창민 기자] 기아는 2일 프리미엄 준대형 세단 K8의 연식변경 모델 ‘더 2023 K8’을 출시하고 본격적인 판매에 돌입한다고 밝혔다.
더 2023 K8은 사양 고급화를 원하는 고객의 의견을 적극 반영, 기존에는 옵션으로만 선택할 수 있었던 일부 고급 편의사양을 기본화하고 주요 부품 개선을 통해 상품성을 강화했다.
기아는 출시 후 1년간의 고객 구매 데이터 분석을 바탕으로 고객의 선호도가 높은 ‘프리미엄 옵션 패키지’의 주요 사양을 기본화했다.
하이브리드 모델의 경우 최상위 트림인 시그니처의 선택률이 50%를 웃돌 만큼 고급 사양에 대한 수요가 높다고 판단해 기존 프리미엄 옵션 패키지를 노블레스와 시그니처 트림에 각각 기본 적용했다.
노블레스 트림에는 ▲전동식 파워 트렁크 ▲뒷좌석 이중접합 차음글라스 ▲후면 전동 선커튼 ▲뒷좌석 다기능 암레스트가, 시그니처 트림에는 ▲스웨이드 내장재를 비롯 ▲후면 전동 선커튼 ▲뒷좌석 다기능 암레스트를 기본 사양으로 편성했다.
가솔린 모델 역시 ▲전동식 파워 트렁크 ▲뒷좌석 이중접합 차음글라스를 주력 트림인 노블레스에 기본으로 포함해 사용 편의성과 승차 품질을 강화하고, 시그니처 트림에는 ▲스웨이드 내장재를 기본 사양으로 운영해 고급감을 더했다. 컴포트 옵션을 적용해야만 선택 가능했던 프리미엄 옵션 패키지를 단독으로 운영해 고객 선택의 폭을 넓혔다.
이와 함께 기아는 K8 연식변경 모델을 출시하면서 감성 품질과 상품성을 한층 강화해 고객 만족도를 높였다.
오버헤드콘솔램프 스위치에 조명을 추가하고 앰비언트 라이트 휘도를 키웠다. USB C타입 충전포트 기본 적용과 함께 빌트인 공기 청정기를 기아 제뉴인 액세서리에서 선택할 수 있도록 새롭게 구성했다.
