더블유게임즈, data.ai 선정 글로벌 상위 퍼블리셔 등극

[화이트페이퍼=최창민 기자] 더블유게임즈는 ‘2022년 상위 퍼블리셔 어워드(TPA 2022)’에서 51위에 올랐다고 13일 밝혔다. 국내 퍼블리셔 기준 4위다.

모바일 앱 마켓 분석업체 data.ai(구 앱애니)는 매년 TPA를 발표하고 있다. 구글 플레이와 애플 앱스토어를 합산해 글로벌 모바일 시장 매출 기준 상위 52개 모바일 앱 퍼블리셔를 선정한다.

더블유게임즈는 올해 TPA 2022에서 글로벌 퍼블리셔 51위에 올라 지난해보다 한 단계 상승했다. 순위에 오른 국내 퍼블리셔 가운데 네 번째 수준이다. 넷마블, 엔씨소프트, 카카오 등 국내 주요 게임사들과 어깨를 나란히 했다.

더블유게임즈 관계자는 “국내 대표 게임사들과 함께 TPA 2022에 선정돼 기쁘다”며 “2022년은 새로운 성장 동력을 마련하여 한단계 더 성장할 수 있는 한해가 될 것으로 자신한다”고 말했다.
